Traveling tips with the traveling child - Le Entracte restaurant review

Hi guys!

It's time for another traveling child post! While I was on the island of St. Barth’s, my family and I found a favorite place to dine. The restaurant La Entracte seems like the ordinary casual restaurant when you first walk in, but to me it was a little different...

The first meal I had there was the kids meal chicken and French fries. The fries were delicious while I wasn't so crazy about the chicken. I will rate this meal as a “thumbs up and four stars.”

The next dish I had was miel pizza (miel is French for ‘honey’).
The pizza was overall satisfying, but the honey made it a bit too… sweet. I rate this meal as a “thumbs up and 4 stars.”

The last thing I ate (well, as a main course--I haven't talked about the desert yet!) was the margarita pizza (if you don't know what a margarita pizza is, it's pretty much a plain cheese pizza, sometimes with tomatoes on the top). And I will just say right now... IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! That was by far the best pizza I have ever had. I rate this pizza as a “thumbs up and 5 stars!”

One day, I had two side dishes for dinner! I had rice and mashed potatoes. (I ended up mixing them together, and it turned out really good!) I rate this meal as a “thumbs up and 4.5 stars!”

Moving on to dessert. One dessert we ordered was the three scoops of ice cream. We ordered passion fruit, mango, and vanilla. We also ordered a pastry that was crispy on the outside, and on the inside... it was filled with vanilla ice cream! Chocolate sauce was served on the side. I rate these desserts as a “thumbs up and 5 stars!” By the way, this restaurant also has really good guava juice!

Overall, Le Entracte has really amazing service, food, interior design, and a really nice bathroom! I recommend this restaurant to those families traveling to St. Barth’s who are looking for a casual dinner place, but not a fast food restaurant. I give this restaurant 7 stars. (And the highest I can go “officially” is five!)

Traveling child out!
